Johnny Duncan 
1938 - 2006 

Born on Oct. 5, 1938 on a farm near Dublin Texas, and grew up surrounded by a family that loved and played music. Johnny became an accomplished musician at a very young age. 

His love of music led him to a job as DJ in the mid-Sixties, and then he made the jump to Nashville to try and break into the Music Biz. After moving to Nashville, he took on various jobs while writing songs. Eventually singers like Charley Pride and Conway Twitty took notice and recorded his music. 

He eventually signed his first record contract and began his own singing career.
